Class of 2028’s Brady Pettigrew has proven he can not only play but also win at the National level. Playing a tough and crazy national schedule since picking up a basketball is no big deal to this young man. Brady does not care who he was playing against or how big the stage Brady is going to compete to do nothing but WIN.
Growing up in an athletically cultured family. His father played D1 basketball and football at Penn State, going the football route his father got drafted by the San Diego Chargers. Mom played volleyball at Penn and professionally.
Brady’s big brothers are currently a University of Nevada Commit (Trey Pettigrew), and 2025 Fenwick Foward JT Pettigrew, you can only imagine what those drive-way big brother little brother one on ones used to be like. Being the middle child of 5 Brady has some big shoes to fill while also keeping up the family tradition of being a 5-star athlete.
Extending his range and now the added ability to consistently create his own shot off the dribble has really taken Brady’s games to another level. Already a high-IQ player who makes the right decision and is a willing passer. Being able to play both sides of the floor while cleaning thee glass makes Brady an All-around player who in my opinion is My Number 1 for the Illinois class of 2028!
This summer Brady made a list and checked it twice this summer, being the middle child of 5 Brady has some big shoes to fill while also keeping up the family tradition of being a 5-star athlete alive.
I am looking forward to the year Brady is going to have with his middle school team and how far they will make it in IESA playoffs this year is up to Brady and company!
