Edmond, OK – The Prep Hoops Next Circuit made its stop in Oklahoma this weekend. The event began on Friday, March 11th, continued with Pool play on Saturday, and concluded with Championship games on Sunday Afternoon. The event featured a total of 46 teams. It also featured several players that made contributions to their teams that went beyond the box scores. In this article, we take a look at some of the top high motor players from the event.
Jack Egginton 6’4 AZ Tuscon Select 2025 – Doesn’t know how to play any way other than hard. Watched Egginton go scoreless in the first half of a game, yet managed to positively impact it with his defense and effort. Sprints the floor every possession and will sacrifice his body for the good of the team.
Jarvis Nash 5’9 PG ODE 2025 – Nash plays incredibly hard, but don’t take that to mean he can’t score. He had multiple double-figure games this week, mostly as a by product of him running hard, creating havoc on the defensive end, and getting out and finishing in transition.
Braxton Lindsey 6’2 PF AAO Flight 2026 (featured image) – Coach Gage for AAO told me “We will never be out-toughed as long as Lindsey is out there”. A dedicated screen setter, Linsey went out and grabbed multiple extra possessions for his team, keeping balls alive with tips and offensive rebounds.
Rayanne Lomboto 6’4 SF BBSS Grey 2025 – Lomboto played so fast that sometimes it seemed as if he was defending all five players. A long muscular athlete, with a tremendously long wingspan. Lomboto is the definition of defensive versatility and energy at this level.
Kemartrai Clark 5’11 SF Razorbacks Elite 2026 – What do you need him to do? Clark was a stat sheet stuffer, grabbing rebounds, defending multiple positions, and scoring in transition. A well-conditioned athlete, he never seemed to get tired and set the ton for RE with his energy and effort.
Xavion Lawson-Kennedy 5’8 CG Southern Assault 2026 – I like XLK, while his energy stood out, every so often he would set a teammate up with a nice dish. He’s the type of guy that you always have to watch out for on the floor because he’s always around the ball. He won his share of 50/50 balls and was always lurking ready to backtap the ball from offensive players.
