St George, UT – One of the most anticipated events of the year took place this past weekend in Utah. The Pangos Junior All-American Camp went from Saturday, March 6th until Sunday, March 7th. The camp offers a look at some of the top 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in the country. The two-day event, run by recruiting legend Dinos Trigonis featured skills, 5 on 5 play, and all-star games featuring the top players in each class. The camp also featured some quality floor general. In this article, we take a look at the top Point Guards from the event.
Jevon Yapi 5’10 Las Vegas, NV 2025 – Yapi is one of the most entertaining PGs in his class. He has major wiggle and a serious handle. His ability to break ankles, was on display this weekend, making many a defender cautious to approach him. When given space he was more than willing to take and make open 3’s.
Avian Webb 5’11 Atchison, KS 2025 – Loved this kid’s ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball. Played with an offensive swagger, and a defensive heart. Webb got into the lane, finishing with a variety of floaters and runners. Defensively he got a ton of steals, using his quick hands to tip and deflect the ball from opposing ballhandlers.
Machaon Saverdra 5’8 Boise, ID 2025 – He played with a high IQ all week. He isn’t going to blow anyone away with his physical tools, but his speed, instincts, and toughness were tangible. The PG from Boise didn’t back down from anyone taking the challenge on the defensive end while playing with good pace and a next play mentality on the offensive side of the ball.
Mason Brown 6’1 Las Vegas, NV 2026 – Brown made it look easy. He was one of the tallest players on the floor at times, and combined with his quickness, shooting, and handle, he was simply too much to stop. He played good on-ball D, and showed some dawg in him, getting buckets seemingly whenever he wanted.
Jason Crowe Jr 5’7 Los Angeles, CA 2026 – If Jason Crowe is in the building, I won’t be missing too many of his games. The lefty was one of the smoothest players in the camp. He shoots it with crazy range and is a threat to snatch souls and break ankles everytime he bounces the ball. His scoring checks out, but I was really impressed with his blow-by and passing off the bounce ability.
